Notice - Schedule change for Toho Kaiju Items

In order to balance out the Zenbu 98 live auction the schedule for the following items has been adjusted.
From the 1401〜1727 block (originally due to be on April 4 and pushed back to August 21), the live auctions for item numbers 1565〜1727 will now run the following day on August 22.

King Ghidorah Guignol (Item 1001)

Initially, this item was listed as being made for filming in the 1960s, but upon investigation, it was determined that it was the King Ghidorah that won the Popularity Award at the 1991 Third Kaiyodo Artpla Awards, produced by Saburo Nakai.
We are re-listing this product as item number 1001 King Ghidorah Guignol Produced by Saburo Nakai, with a starting price of 1.5 million yen.

Saburou Nakai
Born in Osaka, 1955
The leader of the kaiju modelling group “Daimos”, based at the “Mu Teikoku antique toy shop in Kyoto. Part of the first kaiju boom generation, he has a deep knowledge of overseas monsters. In 1985 he won the gold prize at the first kaiju modelling contest held at the SF gallery “Monolith” on the 5th floor of the Toei Kaikan in Umeda, Osaka (1984 Godzilla – 50cm, suit version, latex-made). Many of his works are larger than 50cm, and he specializes in making latex sculptures that are made to be movable.
